We recommend 1 - 3 coats of Tux Polish to achieve full opacity. We also recommend using your favorite top coat after applying Tux Polish.
Tux Polish bottles are 10 mL in size.
Included ingredients are: Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Phthalic Anhydride/Trimellitic Anhydride/Glycols Copolymer, Nitrocellulose, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40B, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Silica, Diethylhexyl Adipate, Butyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzophenone-1, Triphenyl Phosphate.
When creating our nail polish our focus is on color. Please keep in mind that some of our shades are highly pigmented to achieve the desired look. Therefore, using a coat of your favorite base coat is highly recommended.
Tux Polish is an independent nail polish brand who makes polish in small batches. We work very hard to keep our products consistent and we've been very successful thus far. Still, we ask that you allow for some small variation between restock batches due to our polishes' handmade nature as well as differences in screen monitors and photo lighting. The vast majority of our polish colors are limited edition and will not be restocked once they sell out.
Disclaimer: All of our polish is hand blended thoroughly, still, there may be some tiny pigment particles present in a few select polishes. Many of our polish shades are highly pigmented and/or contain a large amount of glitter, therefore, some settling and/or pigment separation may occur over time. This should not affect the look of the polish on your nails. We recommend giving your bottle a good shake, mix with the brush, then apply polish normally. You may still notice settling on the outside of the bottle, but, the inside will mix well enough to keep your polish great for your nails.
Per glitter manufacturer information, bright glitter (especially neon/fluorescent glitter) may tint the polish base color. Although, we have not experienced this during any of our testing, polishes created with neon pigment or glitter may fade over time. Our testing process for all polish colors is a minimum of 2 months.
Each polish bottle contains either 1 extra large stainless steel mixing ball, 2 large stainless steel mixing balls, or 3 large stainless steal mixing balls. All polish has been tested for an extended period of time and the number & type of mixing balls used is optimal for each polish type.
A benefit of our tall, thinner bottle shape and wide opening is that the long brush is actually able to swipe the sides of the bottle and you can do a pretty good job of mixing the polish inside with it. If you notice any settling or separation, stir your polish with the brush. You can also swipe glitters off of the sides if you notice any clinging to the glass.
Tux Polish is vegan, cruelty free, and made in the USA in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
